Classes for High School Credit
During their time at Elm Middle School — usually when they are 8th graders — students may take a number of courses that earn high school credit.
One of these, Civics, is required of all 8th graders as part of the social studies curriculum. Another, Spanish I, is a non-accelerated elective.
Others are honors courses open to accelerated students who are eligible based on multiple measures, including teacher recommendations.
